Trooper Babies

The Collinators!!

On Sunday the 20th we joined some friends from church at the Buddy Walk to support and celebrate our friend Collin! It was so much fun! I'm already looking forward to next year :)

Life & Mothers Day

I figured out a way to post from my phone. And since this is where most of my pictures are... I figured I'd give it a try to see if I like it :)

the boys room

I don't have any before pictures because there really wasn't much to the room before. The previous owners had never painted so it was still really pale blue, basically white. Anyway, we used one of Josh's vacation weeks to give the boys a room that actually looks like we love them and care. ;)

We went with a "vintage baseball" theme. No specific team colors (though, there is a Phillies sign above the closet door - I just couldn't resist! It matches perfectly!!)

One wall is navy blue with a red and khaki stripe. Pretty much a pain in the butt. The rest of the walls are khaki.
We found this pre-cut circle at Lowes and Josh spray painted it white and hand pained the seams!
Above this wall is... nothing. Josh is going to make shelves and I have prints, their block names, and pictures ready to go. Their bedding finally arrived. Just navy blue sheets and Keeg has a white crib bumper. They sleep with blankets from my mom so I didn't go crazy with the bedding.
Aunt Judy made these AWESOME buntings for us! They work great with the black-out shades.
(I just realized how crooked this picture is - whoops!)
Poppop made these book shelves for the boys. They are perfect! Logan loves to grab a book and take it to his bed. I want to get some pillows to put on the floor here, like a little reading corner. Someday.
The Phils sign above the closet and the pitch pictures.
I saw these on etsy. Did NOT like the price.
So we made our own! 9 different pitches with labels.
Josh wants the boys to study before bed! ;)
 close-up
we painted the dollar store frames to match too
 from the door
really crappy quality - it looks better in person
come and see!

3 months old!

the best brother picture we got... haha
those quilt squares are getting smaller,
or Keegan is getting bigger
one or the other ;)

 he wants to sit up,
always pulling his head forward when he's laying down
he's not steady yet - but he's getting closer
(I keep telling him "it's okay if you stay a baby a little longer")

just life :)

Logan pulled his booster seat to the back door
to watch Josh mow the lawn
and requested an applesauce ;)
my boys and I snuggled after a loooong day
I put Keegan on our bed while I was doing laundry,
Logan climbed up and laid next to him
and held his hand because he's a good big brother
 my boys and their binks
(Logan would wear his hat all the time if I let him,
sometimes we have to hide it - like bed time)
 LOVE him!
 Keegan is a scoocher.
He uses his knees and pushes himself forward.
This time, right over the boppy under the blanket.
I'm thinking he's going to be an early mover.
Oh boy.
