Keegan Chase is 2 months old! And he's definitely grown! At his well visit he weighed 12 lbs 7 oz (75th percentile) and is 23.5 inches long (60th percentile). His head, in true Dear fashion, is in the 90th percentile!! We grow 'em with big brains in this house! :)
Keegan is turning into such a sweet baby. Especially now that we've figured out his tummy troubles. He is a very smiley baby and loves to snuggle. He has his moments (quite frequently) when he is just uncomfortable and he has no problem letting you know. When someone asks me what's wrong when he's screaming (not crying, it sounds like he's screaming), I've learned to say - oh that's just Keegan. And we love him! Haha I'm no longer nursing Keeg. His doctor gave me the choice - either nurse a jaundice baby who needs heel pricks regularly. Or buy some formula. So off we went to the store! :) Keegan is also a kicker! He doesn't stop moving when he's "playing" on his playmat or laying on our bed. The doctor even noticed during his appointment how much he was wiggling. Keegan doesn't enjoy tummy time. He's pretty good at holding his head up when he's being held, but put him on his tummy and he just turns his head and lays there. Smart baby! Recently he's been a much better sleeper. We went from waking up 3-4 times a night to eat, to just 1-2. It's FABULOUS!!! Thanks Similac! :) He recognizes his Mommy, Daddy, and brother. He'll smile and wiggle when we come into his view. He's starting coo-ing and we've heard quite a few giggles in the past few days! We love our Keegan Chase!!
